C# Developer

This position is responsible for being the main programmer on a multi-year Medicaid project. The position requires the combined skill set of a general programmer and statistical programmer. Job responsibilities include:

  • Automate the production of high quality reports

  • Handle the ingestion and validation of large flat data files to a relational database

  • Managing and ensuring the quality of large datasets

  • Working both independently and on a team


  • At least 1-3 years of experience using .NET C# or Java

  • At least 1 year experience working with a relational database system

  • Experience with a version control system such as git

  • Have experience automating the production of reports in excel, word, and pdf

  • Object oriented design and modeling

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to easily translate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues

  • Fast learner who can work with minimal supervision

  • Have a strong desire to improve society through evidence based research

Solid Pluses

  • Experience working with Medicaid data

  • Knowledge of design patterns

Various federal agencies with whom we contract require that staff successfully undergo a background investigation or security clearance as a condition of working on the project. If you are assigned to such a project, you will be required to obtain the requisite security clearance.
