Mathematica Policy Research, Inc. (MPR) is a nationally recognized firm that conducts domestic social policy research on health care, welfare, education, labor, and other related topics. We are seeking an Accounting interns to start as soon as possible in our Princeton, NJ location.
The internship provides on-the-job training and the opportunity to work in a private company environment.
We are looking for someone to work through the late summer, early fall for a specific assignment. This is a great opportunity to learn accounting hands on.
Duties of the internship include:
Monthly journal entries
Assist with account reconciliations
Grant reporting and client invoice preparation
Prepare monthly invoices to clients
Audit employee expense reports
Working towards a degree in accounting
Strong knowledge of Excel and Word required
